Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to be part of our Search & Inventory team.


  • Design and build a highly performant, extensible Search platform, using best of breed technologies.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to better understand our hotel partners, and evolve the existing Inventory system to better serve their needs.
  • Ensure that code is sufficiently well designed, tested, and deployed.
  • Help make appropriate architecture and technology decisions.
  • Mentor less experienced developers and help grow their skills and confidence.
  • Be an active participant in team stand-ups, working group discussions, retrospectives, showcases.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business to provide the best possible service for our customers.

Ideal Skills and Experience

  • Comfortable with Ruby on Rails.
  • Some functional programming experience, ideally Clojure.
  • Optimise data storage and retrival using Postgres, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
  • Well versed in software testing techniques, including unit testing, acceptance testing, and performance testing.
  • Using domain-driven design techniques to build a system that best meets the customers' needs.
  • Infrastructure automation and working in an AWS environment.
